Easter

This was the first Easter I did not get to spend with my sister, I was pretty sad Tori and I get pretty crazy with the egg hunt. Yes I am 23 and I still egg hunt at Easter. Coloring eggs was lot of fun My mom told me that Aurora colors eggs the way my brother did. Every egg was one color he never wasted the time to get creative. Unlike my sister and I we would spend hours decorating eggs. each of us would get 12 eggs and each one was different, like a snowflake! Haha, everyone was giving me a hard time this year because I wouldn't let Aurora get a hold of my eggs (on my behalf I only did 3 it's not like I took all of them and did them myself) we had 36 which was cut to 30 due to Aurora's heavy hand. Nevertheless we had so much fun. Parker seemed to enjoy the fun too, being his first Easter. Next year when both of them are up and moving will be the best!

Away with Grandparents

OK, so Aurora went to Las Vegas with her grandparents at the beginning of April. My mom always has us give her a medical power of attorney any time we leave Aurora with them wither we go out of town or they take her. I had never known anyone to do that but it is GREAT idea. That way if she were to get hurt they would not have to waste time in calling me to administer medical treatment to her. Any way the day after they get there Aurora and her cousin Konner were play Duck Duck, Goose but they never run in a circle it is more like tag they touch and run away. So Aurora ran up to Konner tagged him and took off, she looked behind to see if he was chasing and when she turned back around hit the door frame! She hit so hard she did a 360 and landed in the room on the bed (just a mattress). She screamed and my dad freaked! He had heard all the stories of people hitting their heads and dying a few days later from blood clots in the brain. He was mad at himself for not taking her to the hospital when she hit her head all the other times. Aurora had calmed down by the time they got to the ER, she just said her head hurt. The doctor that treated her spoke Spanish and when he found out that shew did too he started asking her questions in Spanish. He was very impressed and told my parents she would be fine. Blood clots in the brain are near impossible for small children because the space between the cranium and brain is to small to let them pass. Being the Blessed girl she is she was fine for the rest of the trip and running around scarring my parents to death the rest of the trip. She did end up with a HUGE goose egg (i thought funny since she was playing duck duck goose) but thankfully it was easy to hide under her hair. Poor Baby she still has a small lump but it isn't so ugly anymore.

60th Party!

Jared's grandparents will be celebrating their 60th anniversary on the 6th of this month. We found out three months ago that is was the big 60 and wanted to do something special so I planned an surprise party for them. it ended up not being a surprise but it was so great to see how their faces lit up when they was so many of the family there to celebrate them! It is the diamond anniversary so we had lots of bling! On the cake the tables and lights all over too. I am so glad I did not have to do the food (besides the cake) it would have just been so overwhelming not too many people picthed in, but the people who did SAVED ME! I am sending thank you notes for sure! It was so much fun and now I think my sister in-law-in-law are gonna have our own party planning business we gotta come up with a great name for it and get a tax number and what not it will be so much fun plus we will make money doing what we like to do. I loved doing this for his grandparents, sometimes I wonder why nobody thought to do it for them. 60 years is BIG not many people make it that long! Either someone dies or in the world today they get divorced! They are such a great example to their children and grandchildren.
